In-N-Out partners with Yolo County Library to provide rewards for kids who read!

How Does It Work?

The program is for kids ages 4 to 12.

Register at any Yolo County Library branch* and get a reading log. If the children are unable to read themselves, their parents may read five books to them or read to them for 300 minutes.

Participating children will receive a reading log to keep track of the books and minutes they read. A parent or guardian should sign the reading log after five books or 300 minutes are read.

After reading five books or 300 minutes, children will earn an ‘Achievement Award’ which is a coupon for a free In-N-Out hamburger, cheeseburger, or vegetarian option.

Participants can earn up to three awards during this program. Certificates should be claimed at the same library where the patron registered.

* Online registration is unavailable.

How Does It Work?

Participate in one of two ways:

Option A: Pick up your checklist at any Yolo County Library branch OR

Option B: Track your reading with Beanstack on the web or through the free mobile app.

Things to Keep in Mind

  1. Each book can only be used for one prompt.
  2. Audiobooks and ebooks count, too!
