Herstory 1 & 2: The Legal History of Chinese American Women showcases the legal milestones and often harrowing stories of these brave Chinese American women. Curated by Dr. Chang C. Chen.

Exhibit runs March – May at all Yolo County Library Branches except South Davis Montgomery.

Women’s History Month Exhibit: Fearless, paintings by Ana Lazaro @ Mary L. Stephens Davis Branch Library - Blanchard Room

Ana Lazaro is a local contemporary feminist artist. Her work focuses on inspirational women from across the world, by exploring the underrepresentation of women in most fields of work. Ana’s portraiture comprises mostly of acrylic on wood painting and is centered on honoring the subjects and their legacy. Some of the women portrayed in her series are Maya Angelou, Dolores Huerta, Yayoi Kusama, Chimamanda N. Adichie, Tarana Burke, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Dorothea Lange, and Jane Goodall.

Hug-a-bye Baby @ Mary L. Stephens Davis Branch Library

Join us for a lap-sit program for babies ages 0 to 18 months and their caregivers followed by a Stay-and-Play. We will share songs, lullabies, fingerplays, and board books!

The program is held indoors, in the Blanchard Room and is offered in 8-week sessions. Each session is limited to 20 families.

The current session is full. Next session starts on March 1st. Please register for the next session here with your child’s library card.
