Yolo Reads & ESL Classes

Free tutoring for adults who want to improve their reading, writing, spelling and grammar skills. Share your love of reading by becoming a volunteer tutor.  Free beginning ESL classes for adults in Winters, Esparto and Knights Landing.  ESL classes are grant funded and taught by certified ESL instructors.  Spanish-speaking volunteers are needed for ESL classes.  Contact us at yolo.reads@yolocounty.org

Books by Mail

A free service that brings library materials to you through the mail on a long-term or short-term basis if you have difficulty visiting the library.

3D Printers

Get access to 3D printers at the library. 3D printing allows individuals to participate in small manufacturing projects. The printers can be used to build objects from figurines to jewelry to household tools.

California State Park Passes

Use your library card to borrow a free vehicle day-use pass for over 200 California State Parks!

Career Online High School

Offers adults the opportunity to earn an accredited high school diploma and career certificate online.

Discover & Go

Free or discounted passes to local museums and cultural institutions.  Physical, full-access library cards only.  This service does not allow access to online library card holders.   Learn more about how to use this service.

Accessibility Services

Yolo County Library believes that access to technology and books is essential. We strive to facilitate equal access through the utilization of accessibility services.

Specific branch services including public computers, Wi-Fi, printing, copying, and faxing can be found on the branch page.

Meeting Rooms

Most Yolo County Libraries offer meeting rooms that are available for public use by non-profit groups. All meetings must be open to everyone, and no fees/donations may be charged or collected. For full meeting room rules, please read the Library’s Meeting Room Policy [PDF] .

To use the West Sacramento Turner Library and  Clarksburg Library meeting rooms, please visit their pages for more information. The Stephens-Davis, Esparto, Winters and Town of Yolo libraries’ meeting rooms can be requested by using the online reservation system.
