An award-winning program for children ages 2-3 and their parents and caregivers that combines music, movement, visual literacy and language development. Mother Goose on the Loose helps children develop emotionally and socially while encouraging a positive attitude towards learning!
Join Ms. Sue for Mother Goose on the Loose… on the LAWN!
Mother Goose on the Loose is an award-winning early literacy program for toddlers (ages 2-3) and their grown-ups. It combines music, movement, rhymes, and books to help young children develop language skills, social and emotional skills, general knowledge about the world, and a love of learning.
Every Tuesday on the lawn north of the Mary L. Stephens Davis Branch Library (weather permitting). Please bring a blanket or a towel to sit on.
Minimum days at school? Head over to the library for movies and popcorn! Tuesday’s title is Emperor’s New Groove, in the Blanchard Room.
Free homework help with volunteer teen tutors. All school subjects are welcome, including reading practice. No registration required. For students in grades K through 6.
Join us for a lap-sit program for babies ages 0 to 18 months and their caregivers followed by a Stay-and-Play. We will share songs, lullabies, fingerplays, and board books!
The program is held indoors, in the Blanchard Room and is offered in two-month sessions. Each session is limited to 30 families.
We have reached the maximum number of participants in the March/April Session. Registration for the May/June Session will open on April 15 at this link.
YoloWorks will offer drop in help with job applications and resume assistance.
Yolo County Children’s Alliance will offer drop in help with Cal-Fresh, Medi-Cal, and Covered California.

Come practice reading with a reading buddy! UCD student & College Corps Fellow Lela will be on hand on Wednesday afternoons to help you improve your reading skills. For ages 5-12.
This group offers an opportunity for people who already speak some Mandarin to practice, get better and share our culture. All are welcome.
