Requirements

The sewing machines are self-service and available on a first-come, first-served basis during makerspace open hours. To use them, you must:

1. Sign and submit a yololab user agreement and liability waiver

2. Read the safety guidelines

3. Show a makerspace staff member you understand by setting up the machine to sew

What to bring: your own fabric project, any specialty thread, fasteners, other hardware

We provide: sewing machine, bobbins, a limited selection of thread. Scrap pieces to test on (when available).

Need help using the sewing machine?
yololab offers Clothing Repair Cafés on Mondays from 6:00-8:00 PM and the fourth Thursday of the month from 9:30-11:30 AM.

Sewing machines may not be used to produce any weapons or anything that violates local, state, or federal law or violates copyright or intellectual property laws. Staff has the right to pause or halt projects that violate policy.
