Library Card Design Contest
The Student Success Initiative Library Card Design Contest is open to students who will be attending school at a participating school district in 2023-24. Completed application and design must be received by Saturday, September 16, 2023.
Winner from each school district will receive a $100 gift card and have their design placed on all library cards that students receive in fall 2023

The Student Success Initiative
The Student Success Initiative is a service where Yolo County Library and partnering school districts work together to give every student a library account and a special library card that uses the student’s school identification number. With this card number, students can access all library services, eliminating the barrier of the responsible adult finding time to get their student to the library to get a library card. Since the card is based on their student ID number, students can more easily use library services even if they’ve misplaced their card.
